I'm Mom's big garden helper. We went out to mend the soil in our garden & there was romaine & firewood lettuce growing in the garden. We couldn't believe it. We still needed to mend the soil, but decided we could transplant the lettuce. We weren't sure how it was going to go, but they are still alive a week later. We also have zucchini, tomato, green pepper, red pepper, jalapeño, carrots, basil & soon to have blueberries & mint. It's looking pretty good so far!
