one week old

We saw 11 moose in one day! We couldn't believe it. Apparently, we needed to go to the west side of RMNP to see the moose. We had heard of one at Irene Lake, but were told we had to hike down below it. Everyone else had turned around and we had to scramble a bit because there was a ton of snow on the ground still. It was worth it, though. We saw one moose there, which was super exciting. We then hiked back up and saw a car on the side of the road clearly looking at something. We decided to stop and see what it was. It was a Mama and her baby. We then found a dirt road with a couple cars pulled over and we found eight moose within a couple hundred yards of each other. There were three mamas and three babies, the guy with his tongue hanging out and another one by a tree in the marsh. The little guy above is one week old we found out and he was so cute and clumsy. We loved watching him.
