This picture is terrible, but the story is fun. Mom and I were biking down a blue trail on the mountain and I got going too fast over these bumps and had a pretty good crash (to the point where we thought I broke my arm and I ended up in the ER). I was crying and pretty upset from the fall and these squirrels started making noise in the trees. It sounded like they were rapping, so Mom started dancing which made me laugh. I came over to give her a hug and she saw something big, brown and furry moving in the bushes off in the distance. At first we thought it was a bear and then saw it's huge antlers come up from eating. He was no more than 30 feet away from us. It's the small brown glob under the little evergreen in the middle of the photo. We both panicked and quickly got back on our bikes. The night before we had met a bar tender at the restaurant we ate who was attacked by a moose three nights earlier. He was trying to save his roommates dog and the Moose kicked him. He could barely walk, but thinks he will be okay. We got out safely and it was pretty amazing to see!
